Artist's Description
The Grenadiers, a sub-range of the San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado, are some of the most rugged and spectacular mountains I know. Electric, Arrow, and Vestal Peaks -- the Trinities -- have sloping faces that are almost like ramps. This is a painting derived from a photograph.

Jonathan P. Thompson is an author, journalist, artist, editor, and photographer.
