The Ismay Trading Post's adobe facade stands sentinel over passing motorists just east of the Utah-Colorado line. The trading post is now closed, but it and the big pile of old bottles next to it remain important landmarks for folks traveling in the Four Corners Country.
About Jonathan Thompson
Jonathan P. Thompson is an author, journalist, artist, editor, and photographer. His artwork is an eclectic mix that ranges from abstract and impressionistic digital paintings and photo-illustrations, to spectacular landscape shots from the Western United States, to urban scenes and street photography from Berlin, Bulgaria, Greece, and beyond. His primary medium is photography (DSLR), but he also works with collage, digital painting, and photo-illustration.
